如果论文内容为多学科的，也可以试投相关专业的西医杂志，但在检索杂志时要注意以下几点：
1.该杂志是否收录中医药或针灸的论文。
2.该杂志是否中国大陆地区作者的论文。
如果符合以上两点，您的论文被录用的概率就大很多。

①该杂志为美国纽约的双月刊。为唯一一本被SCI核心版收录的中医类杂志。其影响力较大。
②收录中国大陆地区的研究很少，希望有高质量的论文试试，以期提高国内中医药的影响力。

①该杂志为Elsevier Ltd下属的期刊(这五本杂志中唯一一本英国的)，每年4期，投稿周期较长，常投了2、3个月也没有消息，一般要处理4个月以上。
②歧视中国大陆地区和俄罗斯的研究。投此杂志要有心理准备。
“Take care if you quote research from certain journals:You might want to take this into consideration before citing Chinese or Russianresearch”
③不欢迎动物实验研究。
“The Editor and Editorial Committee of the Journalbelieve that the use of animals in research into CAM is rarely justified.”
④欢迎传统中医内容的论文。该杂志还是秉承了英国传统认真的特征。原稿最好符合中医特色，符合上述第2的要求。要特别注意专业术语和参考文献，要对论文中的研究内容进行国内外比较。
⑤论文思路与投稿策略：
如果手头有研究课题，设计很严谨，符合中医特色，又有新义，可试试；
有较好的临床病例报告也可。“These are appropriate forpreliminary reports of work or where the study provided limited amounts ofdata.”
建议大家写写“papers for debate”，
这样有2点好处。一可以避免试验研究繁多的规矩。二是充分利用自己现在研究的基础，针对一个小问题进行深入系统的分析。这样既可以写出较好的论文，又省事。但是，必需要对国内外相关文献有充分的了解。

①该杂志为美国的双月刊。稿件处理时间3-6个月。“Time from receipt of initial submission to final editorial decision takes an average of three to six months”
②收录中国大陆地区的研究极少，被录用率很低。（有兴趣的朋友可试试）
③主要收录范围很广:气功、针灸、中药和藏医等的研究。（详见稿约。）

①该杂志为美国政府支持,每年3期，投稿周期也较长，要等投上1、2个月。
②收录中国大陆地区的研究较少，被录用率相对较低。
③对英文的要求很高，论文最好请美国朋友帮看看。
④主要收录气功、针灸和中药的研究。
⑤论文思路与投稿策略：
可以把古今一些有中医特色的内容拿来发表。这是该杂志稿约范围较特别的。“Translating scholarly ancient texts or modern publications on ethnomedicine.”
如有多学科研究，特别是社会经济学效益研究也可以考虑投。

①该杂志为季刊，号称投稿周期短，发表快。杂志编辑水平相对较差。“The journal is noted for its rapid handling of editorial contribution and short publication turn around time.”
②收录复旦大学的针灸研究较多，中医类科研机构的较少。被录用率相对较高。
③主要收录针灸及其相关研究。主要录用实验研究。明确表面支持针灸疗法。 “The journal was established in order to make acupuncture and electro-therapeutics a universally acceptable branch of medicine through multidisciplinary research based on scientific disciplines.”
④论文思路与投稿策略：针灸实验方面的论文可以考虑投。如果为下列病症的研究，录用率会更高。
